Noticed yesterday going to work and again today, the engine lacked power, like fuel starvation, only at low revs and when cold, if I slip the clutch and give it a bootful it pulls well. I havent looked at the bible as I have lent it out. It is an S2, it doesnt worry me to much but I think the problem may get worse, when the engine gets warm the fault is gone, thanks in advance for any advice.

You sure its not just damp ? Maybe plugs / leads etc which dried out when the engine warmed up ?

Have you changed anything lately ?
I recently bought a new air filter and removed the rocker cover breather pipe which used to breathe into the air filter. This makes the car much more sharp on throttle response when she's cold as the air entering the filter isnt warmed up by the air from the breather. some would say she's jerky but not if you drive her gently (as you should) until she's warmed up.

just a thought
