Wax/Polish

What's the best thing to polish/wax my S2 Exige with? Do you have to be careful not to use something too abrasive? As it's not metal I keep thinking it's more fragile than it probably is!!

I've used either Turtle Wax of Autoglym for years and years but I've recently tried the £12 per bottle Zymol.

All are very good, though you can get some white powdery residue from the Autoglym.

There are more expensive products that may leave a better shine but I like cleaning my car every week so I tend to go for the cheap and cheerful options above.

The paint is applied a little thinner than a conventional car. I started with Auto Glym, then tried Meguiars and haven't used anything else since. I don't rate their Clay, but the Polish and Wax are awesome on my Nightfall Blue.

Try getting a proper wax. Get some poor boys exp or P21s.

I've used Zymol, Meguires and Autoglym and they are all *exactly* the same.
