Thought I would share a few photos of my 2013 V8 Vantage S. I Bought it back in feb last year and knew it wanted a few jobs doing. It had just been serviced by AM Cheltenham before I purchased it. I have carried out the common issues these cars suffer. Removed rear subframe and had it zinc coated then powder coated, had all suspension arms vapour blasted, replaced the majority of nuts and bolts and had them cadmium plated, followed by a 4 wheel alignment, replaced perished ASM hoses, new pads and discs all round, new helical vacuum valves in the back box, gear box oil change, asm fluid change, changed spark plugs, air filters and pollen filter, new v spoke wheels, all mesh grills and mirror stalks powder coated, steering wheel re trim in Alcantara, carbon side strakes, repair to carbon front splitter, full re spray followed by new door/bonnet rubbers and a ceramic coating. Now just hope for some nice weather to enjoy driving it. I will try and upload some more photos

Looks spectacular. I think that era of Vantage (and DBS) are two of the prettiest cars ever made.

I’m interested to know which bolts you had replaced.

The nuts, bolts and cams for the rear suspension arms, subframe, front and rear under trays, side skirts, bumper fixings and front grill. I’m sure there’s some I’ve missed.

That is absolutely awesome! Park it in your living room, don’t drive it, pour a glass of wine and look at it. 10/10

That looks better than new! Very close to my first Vantage spec and I loved it, especially those alloys which are one of my favourite designs on this model.

Can I ask who did the work for you, especially the rear subframe coatings?

Thanks, yes I love the v spoke wheels too. I also have the lightweight seats that I find very comfortable. I carried out the striping down and re assembly myself. I used McNealy brown powder coating in sittingbourne to carry out the coating on the sub frame, brackets and anti roll bar, Canterbury vapour blasting to clean all the suspension components, hubs etc, they also arranged for the bolts to be plated for me.

A few jobs!
Reminded me of Derek Mathewson's catchphrase, "A little weekend work will sort that".

Looking really good now Tom, but amongst the long list of jobs, I was most surprised to read full respray.
Was that because you wanted to change the colour, or perhaps the original paintwork was in poor condition?
A good detailer can often make paintwork look better, than when a car left the factory.

Enjoy your beautiful car now.

Front end was stone chipped so front bumper, bonnet and both wings wanted painting, rear quarters were also stone chipped, passenger door had slight bubbling round the handle so before I knew it. I may aswell bite the bullet and do the whole thing. I’m quite in to detailing myself (far from the best I’m sure) but it was beyond a good detail.

Car looks superb - I like the understatement use of the words “ a few “ when it came to the job list !
Enjoy now using it.
