Are there any IFAs ?

When looking for an IFA it appears that most are connected with an investment house or a larger group is this the case with all of them for some regulatorary reason or are there still some actual one man band Independent ones ? if so where do I find them.

Yeah try and avoid the like of SJP. I have a brilliant lady who looks after our clients who’s independent.

An IFA wouldn’t be an IFA if he was “connected” to an investment house.

There are plenty of one man band Independent ones and they tend to be a member of a network who look after compliance etc.

I guess my IFA is a small independent outfit (about 20 staff).

I’d do some research locally or try Unbiased or Vouched for
