Calm down at the back ;)

On the way to Harewood today,i had a little play with a Porche, slowed down a little getting ready to go on the A621 and this happened:yikes:

The car handled perfect, pulled off on the hard shoulder, changing the tyre was a little scary though :yikes:

Anyway i was lucky no damage to the car or the wheel:thumbup:

Had a front wheel come off a Datsun 1200 a good few years ago whilst doing 90mph in the outside lane of the motorway. You would have thought the car would have gone totally out of control, but it didn't, it sat on the brake disk and just made it's way to the hard shoulder. There wasn't much of the disk left and I never found the wheel. I guess I was lucky in that it was the N/S wheel, if it had been the O/S then the outcome may have been very different. Never worried to much about a blow out since though!!!

No, it was my brothers, I just borrowed it and I blamed him for the wheel falling off.......but then again he blamed me.

I was at Harewood and had a play with a Porsche - nothing that bad happened, but I did meet someone with a rubber fettish....

Yeah this happened to me and I had to jack the car up in two stages to get enough clearance. I put the old wheel underneath the trailing arm half way through then jacked it up again.
