Hi all,

I have recently purchased a 52 plate GTO, very happy with the car, but on occasions under hard acceleration it has the odd stutter, then other times it will be ok.

Could anyone tell me what the correct plug gap should be, as I heard if these are not correct then this can cause a misfire.

Thank you
Paul

I think it is 0.8mm, if the gap is too wide the engine will miss at high boost .

For a 2.5-litre car the gap is 40 thou.

Paul,

I followed a red M12 out of St Ives a couple of weeks back, was this you?

Cheers

Yes it was Anthony, had the car for about 6 weeks now.

Very happy with it!
