Hi guys, I intend to go lpg with my Black Sam and so would like to fit a unleaded head to my engine. Does anyone know where I can get a unleaded head - new or replacement, or of perhaps somewhere that would do the work on mine?

I can use an upper cylinder lubricator, but it would be an ongoing extra cost, so would rather just get the job done by way of a replacement cylinder head if not too costly.

As always, any help much appreciated!

There is a company I have used in Stafford who do conversions to change a head from leaded to unleaded. T4x4 and Geoffrey have had the heads done by this chap. Don't know where abouts in the country you are but it may be worth you checking out yell.com to see if anyone in your area does the conversion.
What are you planning to do regards the lpg system you are planning on having fitted.
I presume you will be wanting to running both petrol and lpg so providing you dont mind losing the boot space you should get a maximum of a 60 litre cylinder tank in there. Make sure the frame mounts to the main chassis rails. Otherwise it will not be to COP2 regulations. Oh yes the web site for the chap I have used is www.ferriday.co.uk

If I go ahead with LPG conversion I'll be fitting a gas tank in place of the petrol tank and custom build a small petrol tank to locate somewhere in case of emergencies.

You will get a 60 litre tank in place of the petrol tank (thats where Panthers tank is) You should be able to have a tank bespoked to fit behind the lpg tank that will sit in the back "bumper" moulding. That was my original plan but as I work for an lpg company and we are doing a few of our own vehicles as 100% lpg I decided Panther should be one of them.

Just to let you now that Ferriday contacted me via email and quoted me £180 to convert my 1600 x/flow head to unleaded (not sure if that is excluding VAT - presume it will be) and another £80 for special valves that they recommended if using LPG. I will probably have the work done in the near future.
