Audi Q7 boot opening height

Hi all, a question for anyone that has a 2020+ Audi Q7:
When you open the boot (via the key fob), does it automatically raise so that it's 100% open, or are you able to manually push it up another couple of inches?
I know I can hold down the "boot close" button until it beeps to set the desired opening height, but in my case I can't get that to ever be 100%, just more like 90%.
Many thanks, just trying to work out if I have a fault with my 2020 Q7 or whether this is normal.
