I think PW designed it like that due to the lack of a traction control system. Something to do with giving you more control so you don't spin it... so often!
Dont like the long travel play on accelerator. Would prefer shorter. Would a mod be possible?
First cars were much faster action throttle IIRC. It would just be a mod in the linkage to change the effective ratios and should be able to be done without too much trouble.
