M5 f10 drive shaft/ output shaft

Hi chaps

My drive shaft/ out put shaft did break when I did drifting . Done it 100’s of time with no issues before but this time it popped and exploded

Bought a second hand from ebay. How can one check its condition?

Is it just case of vibration etc/ no obvious signs?
