100Amp fuse & Maplins MCB
Discussion
Couldn't they have made this a bit harder to get to ?
The fact that my rev counter was jumping about followed a couple of days later by the car not starting has led me to the fuse, which upon removal of the two screws, disintegrated.
I've seen the thread about the Maplins 100A mcb & have noticed it comes with the two terminals marked up as "battery & aux."
Now that would be correct on the car stereo it's designed for, as the battery is supplying the power to the stereo.
Can I presume you guys who have fitted these, reversed the wiring as the alternator is supplying the battery (eg Battery goes to "Aux" terminal & alternator goes to "battery" terminal) ??
