Ok, I've got (or getting) a torque wrench....Can anyone tell me what size socket thingy I need to take the wheels off??!!!!

Depends on the bike. Ride it to your local factors and ask them to find you one.

On my ZX the two sides were different sizes.. it might be worth checking on your gixxer.

Yes, I had suitable spanners in the tool kit.

My ZXR750 is 32mm aswell.

Halfords should be good to just buy a good guess then try it in the car park then take it back in if it is wrong.

Mine's 46mm, not that that'll help :lol:

have you got a set of vernier calipers (or even similar things you got in maths sets, and a steel rule)

Measure the nut acroos the flats (that's what A/F stands for on tools)

pesty, you're a genius... Got under the seat cowl last night and found me "tool". Appears to be 36mm. Thanks for all ya help.
