Nice one.
I do always wonder just how many revs I'd have to give my car and then slip the clutch to achieve the sub 4 seconds to 60 the magazines usually quote!
Do you know if any of the other cars used dataloggers on the day? I think I saw some sort of GPS thingamy on Adam's car roof at some stage.

My bro said Adam got 9 secs to 100. Which is pretty good for that surface on that day. I' sure he'll be around soon.
I tended to hover around 3500 for a sharp getaway with a smartly lt out clutch, any less and it bogs down, more and the rears just light up. Having said that the tyres were new and not at their best at the time. Now they're nicely scrubbed in!

Its a purely G Based sensor. In car it seemed pretty damn close to what was going on. For reference my bro's CSL which did 166 down the straight got 5 dead to 60 and 12 to 100. Seems OK to me. Not that I don't wish I got 8.2 with my car.
PS Guy, If anyone else told me they measured their own car at 8.2 to 100, I would've laughed!

I use a Race-Technology AX22, which is accelerometer and also GPS based. It's used by a many professional companies and also some car mags. It's not as good as a Racelogic V-Box or Datron, but they are a lot more expensive at £6k+ each.
Sounds good.
Do you get a lot of power squirm accelerating that quickly?
I was going to come on Sunday with the RS, but work cancelled my plans last minute

We used Guys data logger and the sad thing is my girlfriend beat me on her first attempt for 0-60 where she got 4.62 and i got 4.64
It took me 4 or 5 goes and no PSM to get 4.2.....*ahem*
anywho the 0-100 was 8.5 i think,
Guy could you post a graph of your car and my car, i think it would make seriously interesting reading
