First world issues here and just a rant as I am annoyed biggrin

So yesterday fancied a brekkie wrap, ordered via the Maccys App

Charged £4.77 for each wrap and £1.32 for each orange juice, broken down on receipt.

Food is delivered, one of the wraps is missing.
Call them via the number supplied on the app.
They dont offer to deliver a replacement despite me paying £1.99 Delivery and £1.87 Service fee.
They only offer a refund of the wrap, not happy but yeah that will do, then proceed to tell me that they will refund £1.82 and not the full value of the wrap.
Ask why and they say that is all they will refund.
So £2.95 "missing" and no way of getting it back
Ask to speak to a manager and he tells me we are going round in circles and wont be refunding the full amount for wrap and hangs up.

What the giddy fk?
Blatantly stealing nearly £3 for their mistake and no shame about it either and no real way of complaining.

Me, I'd be deleting the app and never use them again.

Suggest you go there tomorrow, just at the end of the breakfast servings - wearing NHS style specs, a short sleeved shirt (with a tie), pens in your shirt pocket whilst carrying a bulging sports holdall.

How on earth did you manage to sleep last night, without first dealing with this blatant act of theft?

I would have been down there the minute I discovered this wrongdoing and given them a damn good shouting at.

It happened to me with Sports Direct. They sent the wrong trainers, but I had to pay £5 return postage. They wouldn't refund the postage because they have a disclaimer on their website saying that you may receive a different style of trainer. Ridiculous.

It might only be a small amount of money, but I will not buy from them ever again. It's the principle of not supporting a company that behaves like that.
