Removing Rear Brake Disks on 350i A frame

Any suggestions on how the inboard brake disks come off? I can't see any bolts/screws etc holding them on?

Once you've removed the handbrake and main calipers and undone the four driveshaft flange nuts, swing the driveshaft out of the way (you may need to disconnect the tie bar and slacken the lower wishbone bolts to allow the hub carrier to pivot)the discs just pull off. Just need to remember to replace the shims as they were originally, as they set the amount of rear camber.

Is it a big job as in time and effort as that's my next project!!

Would imagine that undoing all the bolts is the 'big'job. If they come of easy, won't take too long (max half a day for the whole job). Not that I would get it done in half a day, as these 'small' additional jobs always lurke around the corner.
Experience only based on removing rear drive-shafts to have uj's renewed, didn't touch the calipers or disks yet I must say......

Probably the most difficult bit is removing the main calipers. They're secured with 2 bolts (no nuts) which should be lockwired. Access to these is quite tight. In fact just removing the lockwire can be a pain, not to mention re-doing it after installation. I'd allow a whole day to remove and re-assemble.

Changed the rear discs and calipers on my 400 a year or so ago. It really is a fiddly job. As previously said, the calipers are held on with two bolts which are very tight to the diff and awkward to see/get at. Once the calipers are moved and the driveshaft unbolted, the discs will just slide off, but as stated remember the position of the shims. Best of luck !
