I'm a sucker for sunsets. Whenever I see a good one I can stand and look at it for hours.

Some promising clouds.

The evening glow on the trees.

All taken with a Fuji E550. Was taking the opportunity to play with my new 0.76x and 1.96x adaptors. I was pleased with their performance - only trouble is they don't show up in the exif data. The widest of wide angles is approximately the equivalent of 25mm (shot no.1) and the longest of telephotos is about 260mm (shot no. 3) in 35mm terms, if that makes sense ?

Love the magic hour, always wìsh I could stop driving and snap the sunsets I've seen when I've been driving home on the M4 elevated section.

Seen some stunning ones at the edge of the pacific ocean, so please forgive me for showing a couple of my faves here...

a few from the highlands (apologies if you've seen them before). Oh, and no added colour!

Great, theboyfold. Could the lifeguard hut be on Zuma Beach, by any chance?

I was just about to say the same thing LA

I used to love going up into the mountains/hills and watching the planes queuing to land into LAX of an evening.

Umm, this was the first one to the south of Santa Monica beach pier. Sat and watched the sunset there once and fell in love with the city.

Nice shots.

I prefer shooting at sunrise because nobody's about, and in the right locations you get a dawn mist.

Only trouble is you gotta wake up for it!
