Basin tap for low pressure systems?
Discussion
Looking for a bathroom basin mixer tap that has a decent flow with a gravity-fed system.
Bathroom refurb nearing completion. Downstairs in a dormer bungalow, so only about 3 metres of head.
Bought a Grohe Get tap, that Screwfix listed as suitable for both high and low pressure systems, and as working down to 0.2 bar.
Fitted by the builder, should've been fine ( 3 metres head is about 0.3 bar), but it's very slow.
I've checked the "instructions" that came with the tap, and it says "minimum pressure 0.5 bar". Screwfix listing the wrong spec.
Need to change it.

Or look for taps marked 'LP' for low pressure.
Also if it has a one-way valve or other EU-directive gubbins fitted, remove it.

If it's like my Grohe taps, they come with a "flow straightener" which reduces the flow to a dribble. Unscrew the bit on the front of the tap and take it out, it looks like a mini filter cartridge.
