Help got a problem assign private plate?

I recall that it can take a few days for the systems to update

got a problem i relised i put a extra digit on the Retention certificate number when i assigned the plate

will this matter or am i best to ring them to be sure with dvla so i dont get any issues with police etc

It's not a problem if you've had conformation of the transfer by email

The systems are not instant, check again next week

Just crack on and sort your new plates. All sounds fine. Takes a few days to catch up.

ok i just keep doing a check each if it still not showing by thursday i contact them to make sure they still updating it

This did not happen as the system kicks out any minor mistake in the reg number, certificate number or postcode.

it just strange that on email i got its got a extra 0 which on my paperwork doesn't show that unless its there system thats done it

must be a email glitch they sent

because i would of thought it would of failed due to wrong detail but i just keep checking each day to see if it updates because i got my mot due in august 1st week so i hope its showing on mot that it shows my car details with the reg otherwise they will not do a mot if it still shows error on there site

cross things it sorted in next week or 2

It's unclear what you are worrying about. As long as the website confirmed that the transfer went through and you got the email confirming it, then it's all done and dusted.

The MOT site will update in due course, but it's not real-time information.
