After the Boomer debate now comes the view of Gen X and what is in for them from the economist's view.

The article is here: https://www.economist.com/britain/2024/07/02/the-i...
And if you wish to read to read without the paywall here https://archive.is/iDt8Q

The statement is mirrored in the boomer threat.

Economist said:
“There’s a general feeling in the country that nothing is working well,” Sir Vernon Bogdanor of King’s College London says delicately. The farce of High Speed 2, a botched railway project on which tens of billions were wasted, is a handy parable of wider mismanagement. The frequent dumping of sewage in the country’s waterways—including the picturesque River Swale—is another ready-made metaphor. Sometimes, amid a litany of shortages and strikes, Britain seems to be turning into a giant, dysfunctional metaphor for itself.

How much of that is down to perpetually negative news coverage and everything now being a 'crisis'? The media only focus on bad things.

Good question I trust it'll be answered along the line.

What we read in the comments of the boomer thread: many commentators did not see that they are at least partly to blame for any of the hardships each gen has to shoulder.
