"Fully Functional Trial Version"
Discussion
After a bit of digging, I found a bit of software that looked like it would solve a problem for making hard drive images in the office.
So, we download the "Fully Functional" 15 day trial version, and set about making an image of one of our HDD's.
If this product worked as well as it claimed, we would have no hesitation in registering it and purchasing a license for it.
Several hours later, we have our HDD image on a portable USB drive, and follwed the procedures to restore the image on another machine.
Only to be greeted by the message "Trial Version - No data will be restored. Your machine will now be restarted"
Fully functional my Ar$e!!!!!!!
They've just blown any chance of getting payment out of us now!
Why can't they be honest about limitations of trial versions of software?!
