Copy from .PDF

Can anyone tell me the best way of copying text from a .pdf file to paste into a word document (without typing all info out manually).

Depends on the author of the PDF and whether they ticked the box marked "disable copy & paste" or not.

If theres a button at the top of the document in reader that says select text, press it.

If not the author has protected it.

And if they have, do a Google for "pdf2txt" and download one of the zillion utilities that will convert pdf's to text.
