Can anyone remember where the posting on Samco hose kits for the Griff was. I would like to replace all the rubber hoses on my car with silicone ones. Trouble is I can't find any reference on the Samco site to TVR or the Griff.

Also does any one know of a local (SE) place to buy said kit?

I looked for this yesterday and couldn't find it either... But I'm getting some of these hoses ordered up for my car, let me know if you want a set as well - apparently they do next-day delivery.

HTH!

Thought ACT did a set for Griff & Chim...

Let us know how you get on as I'm interested to find out which hoses, costs and fitting etc...

I paid £162 for all the pipes and clips from ACT.

Took me about 3hrs (i think) to change all and bleed the system.

I'd better clarify this otherwise some who have purchased may be upset ?
The hose kit for the Griff was £139 + VAT but many were phoning to say that they had hose left over, the problem is that TVR hose requirements vary from car to car so we have reduced the kit slightly i.e no hose to throttle heater & one or two other small hoses, the majority don't have them, and its preferable to supply more later than organise refunds.hence apparent reduction to £112. Nice picture BB

I Will gladly add to that Tim,

Tim sent me all the pipes and yes i had a few Mtrs and clips left over and he happily refunded me the excess pipe i sent back to him, which was very nice of him to do:cheers:
As you all know all the TVRS are different from one car to another so it understandable ACT work like this.

I got a set from Tim aswell and very nice they look too. Be prepared to do a bit of trimming and adjusting as nothing on these cars is standard.I also got the air intake pipe from the airflow meter to the plenum. Unfortuneatly the long pipe down to the airfilter isn't available in silicone so I wrapped the old one in silver tape which looks better and should keep the air cooler. I beleive you can also get overbraiding in this size too. The smaller vacuum/water hoses can also be bought from most performance places in one metre lengths in the same blue. However you can't use silicone for the fuel lines as they react, but again you can overbraid the originals or get proper braided hoses. Hope my limited knowledge helps, so what are you waiting for get on that phone and order a kit from Tim (we did agree 10% commision didn't we?).
Cheers Al.

Cheers guys, I'm blushing !, we have had some silicone pipe made that can cope with fuel, basically fuel hose with silicone outer skin, need to check that its ok for high pressure, as its not the normal fuel hose manufacturer, we also do blue fuel & oil hose but in a lighter mat blue.

Excellent news Tim please let us know when the fuel hose is available. The kit looks really good and the fuel lines would finish it off a treat. Thanks for the tip on wrapping the intake hose, looks much better, but a blue one there would be even better. Just need to polish the plenum chamber, alternator and anything else that will shine.
Thanks again Al.
