Next week in autocar.

Top 6 look like,

M400
F430
M5
AM V8
Ford GT

Place your predictions here.

I guess, F430 1st then M400 then exige.

Any ideas Simon H ?

M5 could be a winner. Autocar were comparing it to a gallardo etc recently. Can m400 still be entered as it came out last year I thought (and won?).

Why would it matter when the car came out. I thought its just about the best car you can buy today rather than cars that came out this year?

Should be an interesting read though!!

Right I am off to buy an ipod nano!

Dunno. Thought it was new cars but you may be right. Hopefully they have a gallardo with the new sports kit.

Whatever criteria Autocar use, the M400 is present in this year's BBDC feature.

I have no idea which car won or how the Noble was placed in the end. We obviously came first in this contest last year, but as you can see from the pic in this week's issue, the competition has moved on by some margin since then.

Personally I would have worded that slightly differently myself, but then he does have a nith gween Noble!

Anyway, not wishing to be a harbinger of doom, but if the Noble had won I'd think Simon and us Noble owners might have known about it by now. Lets face it, Chris Harris would have been on the phone for an even better deal!

I could and would be happy to be proved wrong. Mind you, as my current thinking this week is an M400 I kinda hope it loses. Who knows what I could have moved on to next week, so someone hurry up and do me a deal for what is now sooooooooo last years car!!!

If some of the stories Micknall tells me are true, who wins is rarely known until the final copy is done, which can be as little as a few days before it goes to print.

Remember hacks are lazy gits who will do everything last minute, particularly when it comes to writing words (no offence Simon!)
