What song did you play when you pick up your Porsche

I was thinking about this today on a drive down to Caffeine and The Machine (The Bowl) about the song I played when I picked up my Porsche. It was “Running to you” by Chike and Simi.

It is a banal point but I cannot be the only one who thinks about what song they want to play when they pick up their new car.

When I collected mine, I was somewhat nervous and spent the 50 mile trip fighting the appalling (lack of) GEO and stupidly heavy wheels, and all I could hear was my heartbeat alternated with the voice in my head saying 'you idiot, this car is awful'.

Nowadays, I alternate between just two songs.

Unless it was yellow, then I'd play yellow submarine. I definitely wouldn't play that Coldplay tune, or the Donovan one.
