Hi all,

When flying economy, is eithad or emirates worth the additional £257 PP over gulfair? I have no experience with any of the airline and most comparisons is for business class experiences.

A little quip from many years ago when travelling to the Middle East and beyond "If you have time to spare, fly Gulf Air".

I have had no issued with Gulf Air previously.

In fact, based on my recent experience they dealt with passenger accommodation, rescheduling etc when flights to the UAE had to be cancelled back in April.

Edit: In fact, based on my recent experience they dealt with passenger accommodation, rescheduling etc *professionally and efficiently* when flights to the UAE had to be cancelled back in April.

Have flown Gulf Air several times alongside Etihad, Emirates & Qatar to the Middle East & would put Gulf Air ahead of Emirates, on a par with Etihad & slightly behind Qatar.

Opportunity to show one of the oddest colour schemes I saw as a tennage spotter back in the 1970s./

I ended up booking with emirates, I looked at the in flight entertainment and gulf air was pretty limited and they had a long fly over.

Plus I’ve got twin seats on the upper deck of an a380

It was actually still current Cambrian Airways. It was on a short lease. When it came back to the UK it continued to fly with the Gulf Air lettering - much to the confusion of passengers flying from the UK to Ireland - such as my cousin😊
