Anyone been to Porscheworx in Hampstead?

Had loads done to my car by Mario. He fitted my PSE (including deactivating the annoying shut off 40-60), as well as a number of other things. Really liked him and his prices. Can be a absent-minded at times though, but worth it for the personal service. Have recently moved out of the area so have to find someone else like him. Tell him I say hi.

If you dont mind me asking, what was the total cost for the PSE and can you explain what the shut off 40-60 is. Apologies for prying but currently lokoing to get a PSE fitted to my 996 C2.
Afternoon Steve,
The 40-60 cutoff (sorry, forgot to mention that in yesterdays email) is for Euro drive-by noise regs, there's a wire in the accompanying harness that you get with the PSE kit, that when wired per the Porsche installation doc (not included btw, but I have a softcopy) activates the diverter valves, essentially muting the 'zorsts from 40mph to 60mph (or some speed like that...I actually thought it was 50-70kph...nevermind). There are 2 talked about ways to frig the system, one involves a diode "snip" in a relay, the other involves jumping pins on a connector block...the EASY way is just not to connect the damn wire in the first place!!
Anyway, I'll email you PDF's of all the stuff from RennList and RennTech that describe fitting the kit, etc, etc...

I used them a few years ago. Started off doing a really good job. Then on the 3rd or 4th job Mario quoted one price then produced a bill for twice the price and the work had been rushed, no attention to detail. I prefer to take the car elsewhere now, email me if you want details.
