Police head kick video; anyone got a proper problem with it?

Context for the Manchester head kick video is now out.

I cannot for the life of me see that the officer should get anything other than a slap on the wrist. He shouldn't have done it and shouldn't be getting a George Cross for it or anything, but can any sane person really expect superhuman levels of control from a policeman in that situation?

If I'd seen that I certainly wouldn't have been telling any kind of prosecution of the police about it, that's for sure. And I think that goes for all reasonable people.

I usually don't bother reading NPE cause it usually reads like a weird mix of conspiracy theories about global warming/covid and what I'd call "bait" - but you got me here, that is the far more relevant thread. Nice to see that most participants thinking rightly on it as well
