Just been told by Warranty Direct that they don't cover Porsche Boxsters - too high performance apparently!

Does anyone know of any independent companies that offer a warranty, or is it just best to stick with Porsche?

Hi There

Warranty works still cover boxster but they have a limit on the amount you can claim (think it is £2k!!) and price not that far off from porsche own'.

I had a shop around just before I sold my car (few months ago) and there was literally no independs offering warranty on boxsters (apparently lots & lots of claims being made on them in the past year or two)

Personally, If I'd kept boxster or if I buy another then I'd go for the porsche warranty (£750) no claim limit (so cover engine failure £12k) plus porsche assistance included.

Thanks Soir,

I didn't renew my warranty when it expired earlier this year - before I read a few of the horror stories on this site and boXa.net.

Seriously thinking of taking up the Porsche warranty even if it costs me an extra £150 inspection check.
