WHY CAN'T I search forums for a particular problem?

I'm sure the forum section used to give you the option to search for a particular problem but can't find it now! Has it been deleted?
And when you find the search button it takes you to bloody Google!? I don't want google i want pistonheads forum answers so what's happening...

The search function uses Google 'tech', but it searches on PH.

It is st, yes, but it doesn't take you to Google.

When I search for something on here I do a Google search with 'pistonheads' included in the search terms.

The search isn't great (for example if you're searching for a common term, it'll only give you ten pages of results, and it defaults to a daft sequence, and you can't search in a particular section) but it's better than the old search.

Go to Google.

Type in

 site:pistonheads.com [whatever you want to search for]

Eg

The old search engine was replaced by a 'Google' search following lots of posts about how rubbish the old search was and how much better Google is!
