I find myself drinking more beer this summer than normal but like the idea of the 25ml bottles that are (or used to be) so prevalent in France. I did see two types in Lidl but both have really poor reviews. Putting aside a possible booze cruise at the end of this month (as you can now get a day return ferry ticket for ~£40), anyone any decent recommendations for continental (primarily French) style beer in this country in 25ml bottles ?

edit - I should add I do have a Costco card if they have anything suitable.

Imported Super Bock is sold in 250ml bottles, Lidl regularly stock it.

They said it twice, I think it's rude to assume, and they definitely meant 25ml biglaugh

The closest I’ve found to date is Aldi’s Brasserie beers.

Some supermarkets here sell St Omer in 25cl bottles - to me it tastes strongly of maize, not a beer I would buy again

OP: please buy as much Kronenbourg as you can so there’s little or none left to sell at Le Mans. It’s terrible beer. So bad it’s rarely sold in Strasbourg!

Yeah meant 25cl eek
Might keep an eye out for the Super Bock

Just trying to avoid a trip to Calais just for:
Leffe Nectar
Leffe Triple
Leffe Ambree
(guess what I brought back last year)
10-20 bars of chocolate
Kronenbourg and Pelforh 24x25cl

And Coral, albeit not in 250ml size.

Free delivery if you spend £60-70 up to a certain weight limit, and some very good well priced wine also.

Downside is industrial quantities of bubble wrap they use - the house is full of it. I was expecting a few cases, but half the bottles came individually bubble wrapped in a large cardboard box biggrin
