Mini Centre Console Restarting

Just posting about my dad's 2015 Mini Cooper S JCW, for the past 12 months the centre console keeps restarting in a loop. If you're really quick you can change the odd setting but it's frustrating. What are our options to fix?

Needs software update. Various independent coding BMW/Mini outfits doing this.
