I knowa good pub trick that has Bury in it.

Gained your audience and selected a suitable victim ( a smart arse is best) ask them to all donate some coins for your trick. (Don't use your own money unless you really need to)

It's important to have a good selection and alot of copper coins helps, and pair them up, e.g. 4x1, 4x2p, 2x20p, 2x50p - and maybe a few quiddies too.

Now arrange the coins randomly on the table/bar.

Ask the audience to make the names of some towns or cities using the coins.

If they get stuck you have to lead them on a bit.

With a finger move a few of the coins around one at a time delcaring 'Altringham' (Altering them)

Let them suffer a bit more... see if anyone gets any.

Next pair them all up and announce 'Dublin'

Give em a bit longer as the next set need to be done swiftly.

Finally
Scrape all the coins into a pile and cover them with one hand "Bury"

Next scoop all the coins into your other hand, clench them in your fist holding your hand out over the table/bar "Oldham"

Now dump them into the victims pint glass "BATH"

Leg it.

Ex

Last time I did this someone came up with a cracker, they picked up a coin and set fire to it with a fag lighter declaring 'Birmingham' - it was a new one on me!
