Proud new Portofino owner

At long last I’m a very proud owner of a Portofino.
Collected it from JCT600 last week and absolutely love it, Silverstone Grigio and with pretty much every option box ticked. As a long time Aston owner this feels like a whole new experience and one which I very much intend to enjoy!
Each time I press the start button it feels like an occasion and after only a few days of ownership I now fully understand the Ferrari attraction, the car drives beautifully and to be honest its mildly addictive.
Thank you everyone for the advice along this journey… no doubt I will be asking a few more questions from time to time lol

My previous Aston was a 2021 DB11 4.0… fabulous and beautiful car with very low mileage but when you get an itch, well you have to scratch it!
I haven’t had chance to properly compare the two cars yet but as soon as I can get some miles on the Portofino I will report back, the only thing I can definitely say at the moment is when I press the red start button my grin is priceless.
My previous Aston was a 2021 DB11 4.0… fabulous and beautiful car with very low mileage but when you get an itch, well you have to scratch it!

I imagine very very similar to the California - so they are ‘doable’ for children but the pain I find is having to take my child out of the back and remove or fold down her car seat so we can raise or lower the roof. Part of the mechanism folds forwards and into the rear cabin space. The owners book even says not to have anyone in the back when this happens. I wouldn’t want to knock the roof out of alignment (or hit anyone in the back!). It is a pain child seats take up so much space. Gorgeous, by the way. Hope it has that burgundy leather interior they did?!
Slight thread deviation but just wondering whether any Portofino owners on here have experience of the different tyre options? My car came with Pirellis as new but is getting near to needing new tyres. There seems to be a PH consensus that Michelins are the best bet for mid engine V8s but I haven’t seen much discussion re Portofinos.

IMO, Michelin tyres are a better choice than Pirelli's on any vehicle. I've made the swop on a number of different cars and have never been dissapointed.Lovely car OP. Any trips planned?
Re tyres WW. My 2020 Porto is on 21k miles 4 year old Michelin Pilot Sports (car came new on them). Plenty of tread left but they are getting a bit louder, so will put new shoes on soon. Had Michelins on Porsches previously also great mileage but they get louder when wearing. 80% of the mileage has been on euro trips to the alps, Spain, Maranello etc. no track use though.

I see you’ve had a string of Astons in the past but made the jump to the Portofino.
I’m on my second Aston (one of the last VH era V8S’s) and a natural evolution for me would go into a second century car. As I want a 2+2 convertible, the DB11 would have been a natural choice. What’s your views now you’ve had both? I have to say your Portofino is striking and they look very tempting as an alternative.

I would consider the Portofino and Roma, as a previous Vantage owner myself. I got the Roma as it drives and looks like the Aston Vantage should have been.I see you’ve had a string of Astons in the past but made the jump to the Portofino.
I’m on my second Aston (one of the last VH era V8S’s) and a natural evolution for me would go into a second century car. As I want a 2+2 convertible, the DB11 would have been a natural choice.
