I had some w4nk backup software on my old 3600 that did that. What you got installed?

My RX3715 does it, but only when it's in the cradle.

Have you got it set to check email every n minutes?

If you have TomTom Navigator installed, that also keeps the device turned on. If you want to turn it off exit TomTom first.

My 5450 always used to do that.

I never got to the bottom of it - what operating system are you running? My 5450 was on PPC 2002, now using a 3640 on PPC2003, and no problems to date.

Strange, but it hasn't done it today. Not changed anything, so will have to watch it.

Thanks for the help guys

Just a thought - check that there are no reminders set in the calendar

It's also possible that it may be looking for a bluetooth / WiFi source...
