Just wondered if it is possible to move somewhere else.
Unfortunately I've never really enjoyed living in the UK . Rich people look down on poor people attitude is ingrained . The social system helps those who tick boxes. Not actual people who have recognised long term illness. Or you aren't a drug taker or been in prison.
Unless you are a narcissist it is hard to succeed in business which seems to reward ignorance over intelligence.
Everything is constantly more expensive , massive profiteering and I can't be arsed to work all my life in s
t jobs and spend half my money on st rent. Probably why everyone on breadline working is so unhappy.
So the only place I can think of is Russia. Any other places that I could get up and move to tomorrow ?

I’d be interested in why you think Russia is better?
Moving simply means you take your own issues with you.

There is a reason why so many people wish to live in the UK - yes it has some issues, but in general it is still one of the better countries to live in worldwide.
Turn off the media, turn off social media, don't read the constant dribble of negativity
Find a small community to live in with real people
Get stuck in and build relationships
Take time to stop and enjoy the beautiful world we live in
Get a job and work hard at it - whatever it is
get on with real life - which is generally amazingly good for most people...

The only countries that you'd willingly up sticks for offer a society that is at best, no different, but in many cases worse than that you described. It may be that their worse is a better worse than here (in your eyes) and that may be motivation enough for you. But I see many who move somewhere thinking they have found Utopia but rarely is that the case.
That is not to say that it can't work. I have many expat friends living around the world; the US, Bulgaria, Hungary, New Zealand, Caribbean.... all of them, happy. But what connects them is that they moved a long time ago, pretty much right after they left Uni and went because of work and stayed because of love.

Don't expect to get a job there.
If you have kids an English speaking school is going to be expensive
To live in a nice area can be expensive
There is a lot of legislation.
Weather can become oppressive in the summer.
Living in more rural areas reduces access to services to nearly nil.
Dealing with the wildlife, bugs, insects etc in rural areas
Never being Thai (although that has its advantages)
Limited access to be able to buy freeehold property.
The positives are many though, and thats why so many people retire there or become digital nomads there.
They just launched a 5 year visa for peanuts which so long as you are self employed or working for a UK company is fairly easy to get.
If you are over 50 you can get a retirement visa.
If you are financially secure and don't need to work its a good option. Just watch out for the new tax rules.

I know many Russian nationals and none of them enjoyed living there and none of them are keen to return. They inform me cost of living in Moscow is as bad as anywhere in the U.K. and the wealth inequality there makes the U.K. look like an egalitarian utopia.
And if a policeman or security official informs you that you have earned the opportunity to submit your phone to the authorities be prepared for a surprise visit to the Russian countryside and a regime of vigorous exercise.

She has informed me that life in Moscow is no longer tolerable, opportunities limited and the future uncertain. She had a string of high level positions within Russian society/business/organisations, she is very well connected within Russia and she knows her stuff. Let us know how you get on.

I think you have made the mistake of thinking the OP was serious! Its got a lot going for it, but also a few problems.

If you're in a lower paid job that everyman can do, then the chances of you getting into many other countries are significantly lower.t jobs and spend half my money on st rent.As others have said, the grass is not greener, but a different shade. My brother lives in Australia. There are big pros and cons there especially everyday living cost. My sister lives in India and poverty is extreme, you have to plan everything you need (no Amazon sameday or nextday), yet she can step out of house and be in the mountains within 5 minutes.
