Diesel £1.39 Cotswolds

Was shocked to see Diesel at £1.39 at local BP garage today. Last time I looked it was in the mid £1.40s. Never thought I'd see it in the £1.30s again, can't remember when it last was. I recall truckers blocking roads in the 2000's because it was in the £1.40s, so it's priced lower than it was 20 years ago.

After Lady Rachel of Reeves budget next month I may never see it in the £1.30s again.

Said to my friend today that it looked pretty low and relative to the price of pretty much everything over the last 20 years it seems pretty fair value especially when you factor in all the tax takes. In some parts of the world it’s eye waterlingly cheap.

I saw it at 1.36 near Alford in Lincolnshire about two weeks ago.
