Gallardo Spider coming early next year !

Got a call from London Lambo yesterday. Lambo are sending 20 Gallardo Spiders already specc'd to the UK for early next year. The first 20 customers on the list have been offered them, but you must go with the spec they have chosen. They are all E-Gears and only have a choice of 4 colours, Orange, Yellow, Black and Gun Metal Grey

I nearly went for Gun Metal Grey but in the end went for Black.

If you want to spec your own car, the early orders will start coming through next summer !

Getting all excited now !

Was told that there is a pearl white one in the mix too by Lambo London.

So you pay 100K plus for a car and you can’t even spec it just for having it six months early? Think I’ll wait until spring 2007 and pick one up for 70K. Gallardo residuals seem to dropping like stones at the moment.

The only colours i wanted were Yellow, Black or Grey ! I got offered all those colours. I never really care about spec. As long as i get the colour of the car i want, the colour of the leather i want and the gear box i want, i could give a toss what extra's it has or hasnt got.

The fact i can get it in the first batch of 20, coming 6 months before the rest of them, is a massive bonus to me, but hey, each to their own !

You think a car thats going to be about £130k is going to be worth £70k after about 12 months. Wishful thinking i think.

Quickly followed no doubt by the 20 owners fortunate enough to have one. Truly breathtaking design.

As for the depreciation, just had a look on Autotrader.com, couple at £75K, but mostly around the £90K mark. There going to have to depreciate a good deal more before I get my hands on one..............
