Ford S-Max 2014 Diesel BLIS malfunction message. I've replaced it with a salvaged Door Control Unit 9G9T14B533SC but the error message is still there. I have no central door locking, unable to operate electric door windows or mirrors or alarm. Please can anyone help

A lot of modern stuff requires modules to be paired with the VIN of the car before it will work. You could try using Forscan but I don't know whether it has this functionality. Otherwise you're probably looking at needing someone who has dealer-level software to program it.

What was the actual error code? Did/does it definitely imply a control unit issue and not, say, a sensor?

Have you Checked the bcm under glove box fpr water ingress.
