Run DMC DJ Gunned down

Just heard, long-time rappers Run DMC's Vinyl spinner "Jam Master Jay" has been gunned down in New York.... now I'm not a huge rap fan at all, I personally reckon most of it is crap,,, too much preaching violence and rubbish, but with Run DMC it was never like that and it's sad that it always happens to the good guys.... more talent wasted in a wasted society... how sad

Most gutted.. I've still got "Walk this Way" on a 45vinyl somewhere.. their music shaped a part of my youth.. what a shame

Yep, read that this morning, very sad.

Especially seeing as they had just dusted off the Adidas for a comeback.

I dont really care about all this east coast v's west coast business for all it matters to me Biggy Smalls could have eaten Two Pack, or Tupac or whatever his name was (the rapper, not the paint) but when the decent acts of old check out its just not nice.

If any other rapper used that line they'd be laughed off the streets, Run DMC weren't.... guess that was their talent... I hope that they can rise above this and carry on with their planned revival
