Just had discs and pads on the front, 2017 V6 non s. Should the tab on the springs go further underneath the caliper carrier? I'm sure they went further in before but obviously everything is new now, maybe that's the difference?

I've seen a fitting kit available that comes with new springs, are they meant to be renewed when the pads are done?

The spring is incorporated into the ‘Jaguar’ logo plate, so I doubt there’s kits with springs in given the multitude of calliper colours available. Just wouldn’t be viable. And no, you don’t renew them at every pad renewal. Especially as they’re £100 each now.
