Hi Rob M - yes I am local - live Bromsgrove (near Clarks) work in Stourbridge. Drive an armchair (red Rover 75 Connisseur SE) for work, and a Mica Blue S2 at weekends (reg G10TVR). Also write Morgan's Mutterings in Sprint (if you're in Car Club - if not worth joining - the West Mids branch very friendly and meet up at least monthly)

As I've seen you as far from St'dge as the A456 I guess you work away from town - otherwise we could have had a lunch time drink.

Graham - wot u got? U dain't say!

Is your mate in Redditch with the S1 Paul - with a very loud exhaust - or are there 2 S1's in Redditch?

If you see a light blue Tuscan H6 TVR - that's me bruvver! We have been known to blast thru Kidder & Bewdley together.

Trouble with Tiv spotting round me is Clarks - they are literally a few doors down the road from me, so there are always Tivs passing the door - even her indoors can now tell a Tiv from the sound at half a mile!

Maybe we should start a "Further West - West Midlands Region"
At the very least we should organise a run out over Kidder way and post it on here - I'll talk to the RO.

Im sure ive seen h6tvr

Paul (&Sarah) wright is the chappy with the s1 in fact we were even working together today...

My car is a dark grey 4ltr chimaera
Nitron dampers, willwood brakes, no cats, no airlow meter and an emeral programable ecu, all sitting on 17inch speedline alloys

And currently a Violet coloured Wedge, well the bits that arnt mashed any way...

yepo we must get a west west mids cruise up together soon and a burble through bewdley in convoy is a must... one weekedn soon ?

ref clarks, dealership status is in question I do hope they sort it out as Paul Carvell seemed a decent chap..

cheers

Hi Dave.
I work in warwick & blast it past your place in the morn then. I've bought a sporty silver fiesta 1.25 as the gas bill ( 250 a month ) was killing me so you may not spot it so often from now.
I used to go to the club meet quite often until new infant arrived. I think its about time the kiddie seat went in the chim then Do you know If the next meet at the bulls head still ?

I've only managed one club meet and i think that was at clarks...

trouble is during the race season spare weekend are like gold dust so the chances of a pass out for car meets are low .....

but now in the off season ( when most chims are tucked up in a garage) im up for it...

Perhaps I'm being a bit dim but I still don't understand the references to Clarkes and the suggestion that there's a problem that needs sorting out.....

Can anyone elaborate ?

Various comments were made to me BY TVR and other main dealers whilst i was at the motor show ( which Clarks did not attend)
I have not spoken to Clarks directly and do not wish to post anything i cannot substaiate on an open forum.

One thing i will say though is that it has nothing to do with the quality of work or levels of service that they provide, of which i have only heard good results.

you can e-mail me for more info.
