Gas powered 'Liners!!

I have a guy coming over tonight to buy an Apexi cone for his R33 GTST.
Anyway during converation it turns out his 'liner is gas powered.I have heard of one or two that have been converted but not yet actually met one.
Seems like a good economy idea,as I understand there is not a performance hit for using gas.
I'm quite interested in it.Ineed you guys to think of some questions to ask him about use of gas,I'm (un)usually brain dead with flu & am just going erm...erm..etc a lot:headache:

The car was actually a '32,completely 100% standard so quite good to make comparisons-So Quiet! I couldn't believe it.
The lpg gas conversion was about £1400.00,very little evidence of any change under the bonnet.It comprises of a piggyback ecu,a diffuser/heater-brings the gas upto 50 deg C(looks like,& similar position to, a small brake booster),injectors along the fuel rail & the tank,which sits above & behind existing tank in the boot.
Owner reccons about 20mpg-but then gas is half the price.He's happy.He recons he's getting a bit more power & the delivery is much smoother,with very little tubby lag.I had a very quick spin & TBH,I couldn't really say either way,tho it certainly went well enough.
So! an interesting experience,petrol would have to be pretty expensive to warrant a £1400.00 outlay-for me anyway. You could buy quite a few go-faster toys for that.
