I'm fairly sure that recently Iwas scratching about this part of world and I came accross a couple soundbites of members cars with had had "cat-back" systems fitted, one had a Wortec (deep bass growl) and the other had another system fitted that was a marvellous "tourtured-lion" type of affair.Y'know the sort of noise that an F1 car wishes it made?

Only trouble is, I forgot where the sound tracks are, anybody know??

G'WAN YOUNG MAN!...

heheheheheheh....

nice one, thing is... er... i knida like the other one at the time. Harder edge to the noise, not quite so deep, deffo "hairs on the back of the neck stuff" and cant for the life of me find the link so I can get the name of the kit.. DOH! i *think* it may have had oval pipe-ends on it.. like that helps I know...

As it turns out have had some good news, and as a by-product, I feel a few weeks of going into magpie-mode and procuring some shiney things for the toys..

(apart from a total gearbox rebuild on the GS) Now, where did i put the tourtech catalog????

The oval tipped car was a 6.0 VXR with the WORTEC system. The sound bites do not do it any justice. If you want a demonstration email me and we can arrange.

The system gives an extra 25+bhp and costs £995 fitted including VAT. We also offer a tune to maximise the flow, this gets rid of the woolly and disconected throttle feel of the drive by wire. It also takes hp up to circa 450. Transforms the urgency of the car and sounds unbelievable. £1700 fitted inc VAT.

Whereabouts are you DAMO ?

One of my neighbours told me he could hear the car start up in his bathroom the other side of his house, and it was rattling his toothbrushes. LOL. I said I would park the car the other way round but he would have none of it, said he liked it too much :-)
