Where to go for a 4x4 adventure?
Discussion
Hi, newbie to the site but looking for advice/inspiration!
My friend and I bought a 1999 Fiat Panda 4x4 last year and this year raced it 3,000km across the Sahara in Morocco in a rally called Panda Raid. It was amazing.
We are now looking for something else to do. We both work so short trips would be great. Something across the Alps perhaps using off road tracks. We are open to any ideas but it needs to feel like an adventure, so not just driving on motorways/auto routes.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

We’re here now. Absolutely LOADS of 4x4 tracks, half the actual roads require a 4x4 to get around them.
96p a litre for diesel, cheap food both in the supermarkets and eating out, and friendly locals. Beautiful scenery that is natural, not overdeveloped for tourism.
We’re coming upto 5 months into a 2 year trip around Europe and it’s our favourite country so far.
