In my poverty spec 2.9, it's behind the flap in the frunk where the tyre inflator etc are stored.

Yep. Open the frunk and on the right pull out the black plastic box and it'll be in there.

Top tip, wrap the side of the locking wheel nut in electrical tape. It'll help prevent it scratching your alloys.
