Took a blat along the A350 a few weeks ago, shortened race can wailing (really, it is rather loud, can be heard miles away :paperbag:). I entered a village and dropped the speed to 30-35mph but as it was only mid afternoon I didn't worry about the whole noise/revs thing so was still making a bit of a racket. Anyway, I rounded a corner to find a Police motorcyclist standing off his bike, front of his lid flipped up. He looked at me, evidently saw I wasn't going very fast and walked back to his bike. As I passed him, rather than pull me over (was wearing a dark visor too), he just feigned interest in the side of his bike and literally 'looked the other way', didn't even acknowledge me. I wanted to beep and give the 'you ok?' sign in case he had a problem with his Pan, but thought i'd better just take the hint and burble on my merry way! ;)

So, thanks copper! :)

Most seem very nice on the face of it. If you are taking the piss (i.e. Blasting through villages at 60 with loud can on the back wheel) then you can expect what's coming to you. I tend to avoid the big bike meets now as Police tend to concentrate their efforts keeping the numpty bikers (there is a lot out there) under control whilst you sail around the beautiful countryside.

Thumb and forefinger into a circle, or just a 'thumbs up thumbs down' rotation.
