It’s what we did. If one of us goes, half the house goes to the kids but you need to ensure it’s correct on the Land Registry.

Yep that’s what we’ve done. Kids own half but surviving partner remains in control until they keel over then remaining then goes to kids. To achieve that you need to be tenants in common and our kids are executors and trustees.
All taken care of in the individual wills.
