Can we please get one? Pretty please?

Some threads are almost unreadable because of a small handful of posters. An ignore button will seriously cut down on troll food.

FB has the Block user capability and Money Saving Expert have the ignore user capability. Discussions still function well there.

I don't get the point of it.

Just don't read the posts of the people you don't want to?

I also think it would lead to confusion in threads if you can't see all the comments that have been made - good or bad ones.

Sees to work okay on other forums. PH is one of the very few I've seen that doesn't have the feature. I'm assuming the background code is really old and might not be able to support such a feature but one can still ask

There is an ignore the thread button. A cross that I press when a thread detireorates to the point I don't want to read it.

This works for threads you have contributed too.
