I have a Toshiba e800 PDA running Pocket PC 2003SE and a Lexar 516Mb SD card.

I need to put some data on the SD card but I cannot see if there is any way to only allow my specific PDA to access the files or if there is any way to password protect the files.

Any ideas?

Just google for PDA encryption, should throw out a few programs, including some freeware bits and bobs

Note that you cannot do disk encryption on PDA folders, but you should be right doing it on a specific folder on the SD card. You may even be able to use transparent encryption, such that your particular PDA can open it without passwords, but any other needs to install the program/type the password etc

Thanks.

I looked at some of the encryption programs but wondered if there is any way of locking the card to the pda. Doesn't look like it but will have to do some more digging.
