How easily can an address be found from a mobile no.?

After reading the recent thread about tracing someone, I wondered how secure the info behind a mobile number is.

Depends I guess, if the mobile is PAYG then I suspect slim to none of a linked address but a bit different if on contract

I mean I know there's paid reverse lookup services that apparently divulge the info, but surely it can't be that easy?

I seriously doubt that just a mobile phone number could be able to find an address. The information is held by the company that the person has a contract with if the person has a phone contract. That information isn’t something that phone companies can share with without a legitimate reason to.

In the US mobile phone numbers are based in the area where the person bought the SIM card or e-sim.
